報告摘要：
I will introduce the definitions of stable ranks (Bass stable rank and topological stable rank). Then I will talk about some work on the stable rank of C*-algebras. Consider a free and minimal action of Z^d on a compact Hausdorff space X. The main result shows that the stable rank of the corresponding crossed product C^*-algebra $C(X) \rtimes Z^d$ is 1. This gives a positive answer to a conjecture of Niu and Phillips. This talk is based on a joint work with Zhuang Niu.
報告人簡介:
李春光，東北師範大學數學與統計學院副教授。2012年畢業于吉林大學，獲得博士學位。主要研究算子理論與算子代數方面問題，在Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., J. Noncommut. Geom. ,Proc. Amer. Math. Soc.等雜志發表多篇文章。
