報告摘要: We will define characteristic classes associated with any extension of L_{\infty} algebras. We will see several examples coming from different settings, including: exact Courant algebroids, 2-plectic geometry and gerbes. This is joint work with Sebastian Herrera (Sao Paulo).
報告人簡介：Cristian obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from IMPA in 2009. Then he held a postdoc position at IMPA (2010) and then he received a Junior Research Fellowship from ESI-Vienna where he was a Junior Research Fellow until the end of 2010. Currently, Cristian is an Associate Professor at the University of Sao Paulo. His research interests are Higher Differential Geometry, with focus on geometric structures on differentiable stacks and connection with symplectic geometry and mathematical physics.
