報告摘要：
The study of symmetry has always been one of the central topics in the filed of geometry. In this talk, we will present some results on the symmetry of Riemann-Finsler spaces. The main topics will include symmetric spaces, weakly symmetric spaces and geodesic orbit spaces. We will show that there is no intermediate stage between symmetric spaces and weakly symmetric spaces.
報告人簡介：
鄧少強，南開大學數學科學學院教授、博士生導師。主要從事李群與微分幾何的研究，在Adv. Math., J. Reine Angew. Math，Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., Int. Math. Res. Not. IMRN, Math. Z.，Israel J. Math.等重要期刊發表論文100餘篇SCI論文，2012年由Springer出版社紐約分社出版的獨撰專著《Homogeneous Finsler Spaces》列入著名數學專著系列Springer Monographs in Mathematics中。已主持6項國家自然科學基金項目和2項教育部博士點基金項目。2003年入選教育部優秀青年教師資助計劃，2004年入選新世紀優秀人才支持計劃，2007年獲寶鋼優秀教師獎，2014年獲全國高校自然科學二等獎（第一完成人），2015年獲天津市教學名師獎，2016年獲得天津市五一勞動獎章。是2013-2017年度和2018-2022年度教育部數學專業教學指導委員會委員。
