報告摘要：We propose a new notion of multiplicative connection in the tangent bundle of a Lie groupoid. We identify its infinitesimal analogue and discuss an integration theorem. We also present a bunch of examples. Our results can be easily generalized to multiplicative connections in VB-groupoids. This is the first step towards a theory of linear connections on differentiable stacks (joint work with: F. Pugliese and G. Sparano).

LUCA VITAGLIANO，意大利薩勒諾大學教授，從事微分幾何與數學物理的研究，擔任《J.Nonlinear Math. Phys.》和《Int. J. Geom. Methods Mod. Phys.》等雜志的編委，在IMRN和J. Symplectic Geom.等雜志發表多篇文章，在國際上有重要的影響力。
