報告摘要:We study the singular stochastic cubic nonlinear wave equation (SNLW) with additive noise on the three-dimensional torus. In particular, we prove the local well-posedness of the (renormalized) SNLW when the noise is almost a space-time white noise. We proceed with the second-order expansion of the solution and study the resulting equation for the residual term, using the multilinear dispersive smoothing and random matrix estimates. This is joint work with Tadahiro Oh and Younes Zine (University of Edinburgh).
報告人簡介:Wang Yuzhao is a senior lecturer (associate professor) at the University of Birmingham. He got his PhD at Peking University. He spent two years at Memorial University (Canada) and then two years at the University of Edinburgh before moving to Birmingham.
His main research interests are (stochastic) nonlinear dispersive PDEs, such as nonlinear Schrödinger equations and nonlinear wave equations by using techniques from PDEs, stochastic analysis and harmonic analysis. Mainly, well-posedness (existence, uniqueness and stability of solutions) in both deterministic and probabilistic settings, and invariant measures.
