報告摘要：Variable selection is a common task in many fields and also a hot topic for the analysis of failure time data, a main filed in biostatistics or statistical applications in medical and public health studies. Correspondingly, some methods have been developed but there still exist some practical situations that have not been investigated. In this talk, we will discuss several recently developed methods for interval-censored data, a general type of failure time data that commonly occur in many areas including demographical studies, economic studies, medical studies and social sciences.
報告人簡介：孫建國，美國密蘇裡大學Curator’s Distinguished Professor，1992年在加拿大滑鐵盧大學獲得博士學位。他是美國統計協會Fellow、國際數理統計協會Fellow，國際統計學會Elected Member。曾擔任泛華統計協會(ICSA)主席，曾或目前擔任多個頂尖統計期刊編委。他的研究主要集中在生物統計學方面，并在多個領域做出了重要貢獻，包括區間删失失效時間數據和面闆計數數據。
