報告摘要：
The discriminant plays a remarkable role in solving some classical and difficult question in noncommutative algebras. In this talk, I will survey some recent developments on the discriminants and some discriminant formulas. I also give applications of discriminants to automorphism problem, cancellation problem and Tits alternative principles.
報告人簡介：
王豔華，上海财經大學伟德线上平台教授、博士生導師，主要從事Hopf代數與非交換代數不變量的相關研究。 曾于2012年和2017年訪問美國華盛頓大學，主持多項國家自然科學基金和上海市基金項目，在Adv. Math., Math. Z.和J. Algebra等雜志發表論文20餘篇。
